With over two decades of experience as an educator, Lance LeVar (He/Him) has provided over 100 training sessions for school districts across the U.S. on topics such as Section 504, Title IX, multicultural education, instruction and professional learning communities.
Lance has been a teacher, building and district administrator in Arkansas and Utah. In addition, Lance was the Arkansas Department of Education’s Section 504 and Title IX program advisor for all public school districts and open-enrollment charter schools until July 2024.
Having been a secondary educator and a building administrator at elementary, middle and high school levels, Lance approaches his training with an eye on what it looks like to the practitioner. His presentations address common mythologies and cuts to the core of how educators can fulfill their civil rights responsibilities while not getting overwhelmed with the process.
